A commissioned grand opera. Teatro de la Maestranza, Seville
On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the First Earth Circumnavigation made by Ferdinando Magellano, the Atarazanas Foundation commissioned to write a grand opera celebrating the renowned explore deeds which have passed into history. The project presentation took place on August 10, 2012 in Sevilla the city which he departed from and where the premiere of the opera will be performed at Teatro de la Maestranza.
